The goal of this interactive course is to recognize how three-dimensional imaging impact our diagnoses and treatment decisions in everyday cases. We will discuss how CBCT helps us approach cases in a comprehensive manner and establish an accurate diagnosis before creating a reliable treatment plan. We will develop this protocol using cases on odontogenic and non-odontogenic lesions, root resorption and radicular fractures.
Educational Objectives:
Understand the impact of CBCT on diagnosis and treatment planning.
Realize the distinction between normal anatomical structures, abnormalities, and artifacts.
Develop an efficient systematic approach for CBCT interpretation.
